With the first basement wall up, the crew begins on the rest. Sewer work should begin early next week, as well as continued progress on the basement walls.

The rebar and molding for the basement walls (that will then have concrete poured into it) began to take shape this week. The basement itself is expected to be completed in approximately 5-6 weeks.

The foundation has begun to be poured with plans to start on the floor and walls later this week! Construction is well underway now!

With holes dug and rebar being laid down, the construction crew prepares the laying of the foundation.

Last week was spent removing the remainder of the previous building. The entire basement was left to get rid of and had incredibly thick walls that took some time to get through. After the old basement was removed the crew finished digging the hole for what will be our brand new basement.

Today began the groundbreaking for the basement/foundation. After some slight delays the construction is finally fully underway! Be sure to check out the video above (these will get better over time)!
