Important Credit Card Information

PLEASE READ if you have a TobyFCU VISA® Credit Card!

In August 2011, all current Classic, Gold, and Business credit card holders will be issued a new PLATINUM card. The current rewards program will be cancelled. A new and improved program will be available sometime in the Fall of 2011.

You will need to start using your new PLATINUM credit card on and after August 29, 2011. Your current Classic, Gold, or Business card will no longer be active after August 29,2011.

Effective August 26th, 2011, the existing EzCardInfo.com payment service will be replaced with a more convenient process through our Free Online Banking Service. If you currently use TobyFCU's Bill Pay to pay your credit card, please cancel your payment as you will be able to make your payment directly through online banking.

If you use a different Bill Pay provider please, after you receive and activate your new card, update the address you are sending payments to:

Timeline:

• Friday August 26, 2011:
  You can continue to use your current card as you normally would.


• Saturday August 27, 2011:
  You can continue to use your current card as you normally would.


• Sunday August 28, 2011:
  You can continue to use your current card as you normally would.


• Monday August 29, 2011:
  1. Activate your platinum card.
  2. Start using your platinum card after 10:05am.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is different with the Platinum Card?

• Each card will have its own unique number.
• This is a security feature as well as a member benefit.


• Different numbers allow us to block one card while the other one remains unblocked in the event of a card being lost or stolen.


• You will still only receive ONE statement for both cards. They are still tied to the same account, regardless of them having different numbers.


• Different card numbers allow us to give you additional information about a purchase should there ever be a dispute or potential fraud on your card.


• Any overpayments will be cleared out the first day of the following month. If you pay more than your card balance, any extra funds will be returned to your share account.


• The rewards program. We will no longer be a participant in ScoreCard Rewards. All point balances will be carried over to a new rewards program to be rolled out in Fall 2011. The new program will include points for credit card transactions, debit card transactions, and member loyalty! You will be given credit for all points that should be earned from now through the time the enhanced program is rolled out.


• Payments. Payment can now be made through our free online banking! You can also continue to make payments over the phone, in person, or via mail.

Will my VISA statement be part of my credit union account statement?

At this time, they will arrive as two separate statements.

Can I receive my VISA statement via email?

At this time, statements are only available in paper format. This enhancement is expected by the end of 2011.

I received my VISA Credit Card PIN number and I don't like it, can I change it?

Not at this time. Coming soon in fall 2011, you will have the opportunity to change your credit card pin in our branches the same way you can change your debit card pin number.

I have more than one card on my account, why are the expiration dates different?

The expiration dates are different because these are two different cards with different numbers and security codes. The expiration dates were randomly generated and, because they are different, will allow members to be able to access credit with much more ease.
